Sound of the iPod Classic vs sound of the iPhone 16 in the car

My 6th generation iPod Classic stopped working, and I think it's beyond repair. It had excellent sound quality when connected to my car via cable. I tested the sound quality of my iPhones 10 and 16, using the same iTunes songs in the same car, both via Bluetooth and cable, but the sound quality is worse compared to the old iPod. Does anyone know how to improve it? Thank you.

Poor sound quality in my car Hi everyone, When I connect my iPhone 14 Pro to my car the quality of the music isn't super good and I have to boost the volume to get better quality. I've tried both Bluetooth and USB and no difference. I just tried with an old Samsung Galaxy S7 and it's a plug and play! Brand new iPhone 15 pro aux in car is very bad quality I just got my iPhone 15 pro 2 weeks ago. My car does not have bluetooth so I have to use aux. when I plug it in to my car and play music it is very bad quality. I plugged the same aux cord into a separate speaker to see if it was the aux and it sounds great through that. My boyfriend plays music through his iPhone 13 in my car and it also sounds great. It has to be something with the phone but I can’t seem to figure it out.

iPhone Music Sound Quality I upgraded from iPhone 6 Plus to iPhone 13, and the difference in music playback sound quality is huge, the iPhone 6 sounds a lot better on all my speakers. IPhone 13 has no base, lower volume, no way to equalize sound, I am getting headaches from such bad sound quality, it sounds very tiny, there is now whole fullness to the iPhone 13 sound. I can still return it, wondering if the iPhone 14 is any better?
