iPod Touch 7th Gen displaying mismatched album art for songs

I noticed recently that my iTouch 7 has been adding art work that 1. I did not add and 2. does not always match the artist. It is also adding "Unknown" in the album column but when I go into the library one my Windnows laptop there is no artwork there nor the word "Unknown."

what can be done to remedy this issue? It is not happening on files in which I have attached album info and artwork.

I do not have it associated with my iPhone 12.
