Mail practically unusable after 18.2 - is it possible to revert update?

It pays to not read the thread and make people like you take time out of their day to tell me what to do to fix the problem thanks problem solved👍🏻 maybe create a thread with the soul title stating how to fix the problem then 100 people wouldn’t ask the same thing I did.

The way I got it into a usable state is to just set it to "All Mail".

I was forced to switch to the gmail app after the update..

I was not aware of the release notes, so Apple could make this more clear. You might consider being more polite and less critical when you offer help.

Change the email back . This is so much clutter. My eyes are bad enough. This change is horrible. To much clutter. I’ve missed important emails since this update😫

Reverting back is not an option.

That doesn’t sound like issues with the mail app, it is more likely a communications issue.

Have you checked the email account on other devices or webmail, to see if the “missing” emails are there? If they aren’t it has nothing to do with the Apple email app.

Outlook express is another email app.

I want my unread messages displayed in my inbox by date along with new messages.
