Same issue here with audio doubling on export randomly.
I notice it happens with synced clips (in my case, 1 boom and 1 lav on a multi clip). Audio is from Zoom F8NPro 32 bit float.
Troubleshooting: Restarted. Shut down and rebooted. Tried 3 different computers M1 Pro, M2 MAX, M2 ULTRA. Reinstalled FCPX. Deleted preferences. Checked for filters/effects but am not using any. Have added some filters/effects to see if that helps. Exported different audio settings. Exported audio as separate roles. Checked bit rate in project settings. Still no change.
I exported my lav and boom separately and brought it back into FCPX. I can see one of the tracks lines up with my edit just fine, the other seems to be shifted in one direction or another from clip to clip.
You can hear the problem occasionally during playback in fcpx timeline but then you can pause, start over and it goes away. I have some projects using the same audio clips exporting fine, but these specific projects keep doing it over and over. I have copied them into a brand new library with a brand new project and they still export with the same doubled audio. Huge glitch here I can't seem to troubleshoot on my end - would be great to get some apple support quick on this one.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
