I store my message in the title. My battery is getting empty much faster with the New Sequoia update. Is this well known?
For a period of time after any update, your Mac will use more processor cycles (and thus more battery power) to reindex the internal storage for Spotlight. This may take longer with Sequoia for Apple Intelligence. You can see what is running with Activity Monitor.

My MacBook Air 2020 just got Sequoia update. But my battery is getting low much faster than before. Is this a know disadvantage with Sequoia?
