Hi,
macOS Sequoia requires MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2020) or later.
Try to start up in Safe mode then update to Sonoma 14.7.1 which could solve your issue.
Upgrade problems. is my MacBookAir 2018 too old to upgrade to the current OS? I currently have OS 14.0 and want to upgrade to 14.7.1.
