iClould Bookmarks Chrome extension support for Mac too?

The current iClould Bookmarks extension for Chrome does not support Chrome on Mac OS

However, the current iCloud Passwords extension does support Chrome --

I must use Chrome for my job, even though I prefer Safari.

Shouldn't Apple support iCould Bookmarks on Mac ( as the Chrome extension ) since the Chrome Passwords extension is now supported on Mac ?

This would enable users to keep all their passwords and bookmarks in one secure place ( iCloud ) and still use Chrome on their Mac when necessary while accessing passwords and bookmarks in Chrome without having to deal with more complexity.
