Edit Button Not Working in Photos App on MacBook Pro M1 (macOS 15.1.1)

I am encountering an issue with the Photos app on my MacBook Pro M1 (2020) running macOS 15.1.1. When attempting to edit a photo, the Edit button in the app interface cannot be clicked or does not function at all. As a result, I am unable to access any photo editing features, such as color adjustments, cropping, or applying filters.
