Photos app crash on iPhone 13 Pro Max after iOS 16 update

My photo app crashed with ALL my photos which I have over 100K. I upgraded to 18 last night because I ran out of storage on my phone. I bought 6TB storage thinking it would help but NOPE!!! I restarted my phone 6 times but NOTHING!! I even wiped it clean and restored my phone after the update and everything works but the APPLE PHOTOS!! If you click on anything related to the photo button it freezes it. No matter what app I click on that uses photos nothing happens! TOO MANY PEOPLE GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING FOR THERE NOT TO BE A SOLUTION AS OF YET!

Upgrading pretty much never makes more space on a computer or iPhone. If you've run out of space, then it's not surprising that apps will have a hard time working. Your only recourse is to start deleting stuff off the phone.

Settings>General>iPhone Storage would be a good place to start-- it will tell you which apps are using lots of storage. Games and videos take up lots of space. Deleting apps will delete the data. Where possible, try to delete things that you can replace. You may need to run a computer app to transfer stuff from your phone to an external drive.
