How do I become administrator of my default MacBook Calendar?

I wish to delete some of the holidays on Calendar MacBook.
The calendar tells me to contact the administrator.
Who is the administrator if not me since I am the only user of the computer?
The calendar posts all holidays twice. I cannot delete one copy of the double-posted holiday but not the other. Can I stop the default calendar from double posting holidays?
I realize I can make another calendar with no holidays, but I want some holidays posted and delete others to make room.

You can't. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're referring to, that's an Apple-supplied subscription calendar and there's no way we users can alter it. As to the calendar posting holidays twice, check your list of calendars in the Calendar app and see if perhaps you're subscribed to duplicate holiday calendars.

You can’t alter a subscribed calendar. I created my own iCloud-based Holidays calendar and subscribe to it on my devices.
