iMessage conversation download

Hi, my son’s dad passed away a little while ago. He was unwell for a few years and he used to send a text every night to my son. I would like to get these texts off iMessage to put into a book for him but I’m struggling to scroll all the way to the top. Does anyone know if there is an ap where I can download that message stream too?
