iOS 18.1.1 update for iPhone & iPad will not run backups to iCloud
Since updating to iOS 18.1.1 my iCould backups will not complete on both iPads & iPhone:
- iPhone 15ProMax 512GB iOS 18.1.1 (22B91) The last backup could not be completed. Last successful backup: 11/19/24 at 3:35 AM Size in iCloud 73.0GB
- iPad 9 256GB iOS 18.1.1 (22B91) The last backup could not be completed. Last successful backup: 11/19/24 at 2:56 AM Size in iCloud 25.3GB
- iPadMini 6 256GB iOS 18.1.1 (22B91) The last backup could not be completed. Last successful backup: 11/18/24 at 4:41 AM Size in iCloud 8.1GB
iCloud Storage 2.6 of 4TB used
I've rebooted all devices several times, rebooted network, tried backup using cell service, NOTHING WORKS. iCloud is shared with Family (3 members) & they are able to run their backups of iPhones & iPads running iOS 18.1.1 without a problem on the same network & also on a different network. iCloud storage space is NOT the issue, network speeds are NOT the issue. It seems anything with my Apple ID is the problem. I am also the Family Organizer, so signing out of my Apple ID is not an option. We also have 2 Apple TVs signed in to my Apple ID, my Apple Watch 10, a Home Pod Mini running our Apple HomeKit with many devices, & a MacBook Air (which is not relevant).
