Apple Watch Series 10 GPS + Cellular Digital Crown Malfunctioning

My son’s Apple Watch Series 10 GPS + Cellular has been malfunctioning since I bought it for him on October 12. Sometimes, the Digital Crown doesn’t scroll even when he turns it himself. There’s no haptic feedback or any display acknowledgment, which is becoming increasingly frustrating for him. We’ve also tried AssistiveTouch, but it still occasionally doesn’t work and is also really hard to use. He’s currently running watchOS 11.1 with Family Setup. Could someone please help me fix this issue for my son?
