How to find a future item when name is known

I have a calendar called "Future Items," and I keep things there for years in advance. If I know an item's title I can search for it, but I'd like to get a list of what's on it for any future time.

A good idea for Apple: I turn off calendars except Future Items, change my view to Year view, and just scroll down. If something is there, the day would be highlighted, similar to the red circle that identifies today's day.

As that does not exist, is there a way to answer the simple question, "What if anything is on this calendar?" (Or any calendar, for that matter.)
