Unable to download 1Password 8 and Chrome apps for MacBook Pro from App Store.
Apps that exist in the world do not show in my MacBook AppStore. Apps that are missing when I search for them by name include 1Password 8 (1Password 7 from 2018 shows), Encrypt.me, and Chrome.
I was able to download both 1Password 8 and Chrome from the web.
Other aspects of the store are updated, e.g. my subscriptions, apps I purchased this year, the option to download Sequoia, versions of apps I already have downloaded.
I sent my MacBook Pro in for repairs and it came back wiped, so I'm rebuilding it with the apps, preferences, etc., that I need. (There must be a way to set up a better backup, that will be my next journey.)
The AppStore on my iPhone 11 is working normally.
The version of the AppStore app is 3.0 (1010.1.20.1.2)
Things I've tried:
- Upgrading to OS Sequoia 15.1.1.
- Restarting
- Logging out of and back into AppStore
- Adjusting the settings to automatic updates + automatic downloads for purchases on other devices
- Checking the filters for what appears when I search
- Confirming that I'm using the same AppleID on the Macbook and iPhone
It seems like a search filter issue more than an app issue, given that other aspects of the store are updated, but I'm out of ideas for what else to try.
