when I play a 1.3gig video on a 32gig memory the screen starts showing shattered green lines

That sounds like a GPU issue....
corrupt video?
all videos?
M-series machine?
Intel machine has 2 GPU Discreet and Integrated...?
here is the Integrated GPU, launch a gfx intensive app like Photos.app it kicks in the Discreet GPU
