Perhaps once you've arrived wherever in USA and get settled
your hosts might introduce you to an Apple retail store or AASP.
Visit an Apple Store, call 1-800-MY-APPLE, or find a reseller.

Those resellers may be nearer your location once in the States.
Some of them are independent authorized businesses who can
provide repair services and also sell new Apple products, too.
