apple pay disabled invalid address email

I received an email that says "Apple Pay Disabled: Policy Violation Linked to Invalid Address". It goes on to say my ID has been temporarily disabled because of a violated policy. And gives a case I. I don't think this is legit, but checking to be sure. The sender is do-not-reply@cloud-protect.net. Thanks!

The mail address says it all, this is no domain from Apple, so I am quite sure that this is not legit

If you want to be sure you can always Contact - Official Apple Support. I think that it is also good that apple support knows about the scams that are going around

I got a similar email today. Here’s some things that tell me that this is a phishing scam email.

  1. It was sent at 1:25 am on a Saturday morning.
  2. My sender is : “notifications @online.myconsumers.org”, which is definitely not an Apple domain.
  3. It is telling me that I must take action IMMEDIATELY before my Apple Pay is permanently disabled.
  4. Has a case number and a handy dandy link button I can click to get transported right to “Apple”, so that I can enter all of my Apple Pay info to “verify” it! NOT!

I’ve got one too,on this Monday 25,saying the same thing: App͏le Pay Disabled: Policy Vi͏olation Linked to Invalid Address. Also that some information is missing or invalid. They need to verify my account data in the next 48 hours ,if I don’t do that, they will permanently lock my account. The email from was sent : mail@aade.gr . Sure is a scam ,so DELETE.
