Please connect as:
Apple TV box →[HDMI]→ TV →[HDMI ARC]→ soundbar.
Then set Apple TV to output audio to the TV (over HDMI), and set the TV to output any audio to the soundbar.
Bluetooth audio from the Apple TV box will be stereo, so you would miss out on the surround capabilities of the soundbar.
