I accidentally deleted photo albums

If you deleted items from Recently Deleted, they are then permanently deleted and irrecoverable. If you use iCloud Photos, the photos/albuums are also deleted from iCloud. If you have a computer backup of your device, you may be able to restore, or simply sync again from your Mac. Your albums will need to be recreated. Deleting an album would not delete the images in the album, for that you would have to delete from the library.

If you've backed up your iPhone to iCloud or your computer, you can restore from that backup. Keep in mind this will revert your phone to that backup state. Any new data since then might disappear. There are also third party recovery tools, but make sure to download them from legitimate sources and read user reviews. Avoid anything that seems sketchy or promises too much.

I want to emphasize muguy's last sentence: "Deleting an album would not delete the images in the album." An album is not a bunch of pictures-- an Album is a list of pictures you'd like to see together. When you delete an album, you delete the list, not the pictures.

If you deleted albums, but you didn't specifically delete these individual pictures from Recently Deleted (it's unclear to me from your post,) then they are still in the Library. You should look for the pictures in the Library listing.

A others said, if you deleted the pictures from Recently Deleted, then they're gone.
