I exported 55k photos/videos downloaded originally on my mac to a hard drive and the process is stuck at 94%. is there anyway to boost the export? i don't want to re-do it :(
I don't know that this is the problem, but things will work more smoothly if the hard drive is formatted for Mac. APSF is the fast and versatile.
By "Exported," do you mean using Photos' File>Export? Are you exporting Originals or Edited pictures?
Well this is the hard drive i use and it is not issue i have used it before.
Photos app downlowded everything. Selected all, file then export 59k items. All good untill 55k then it is stuck for hours.
What Mac are you using? What OS? What is the format of your hard drive? Do you use iCloud Photos? Do you have Optimize Storage turned on? Give us some information and we might be able to help.
MBP M1 pro. Sequioa 15.1. I downloaded all photos on Mac before exporting. it is not optimized.
ExFat hardrive.
