Airpods Setup Incomplete and Airpods Mismatch in Find My App
I bought my AirPods Pro 2 last summer when I was still using an iPhone 7. (At that time, I could not use the Find My App with it.) I've now switched to an iPhone 13, which I've had for 3 months now, but I still can't remove my AirPods from the Find My App, nor can I use Precision Finding. It shows the error messages “AirPods setup incomplete” and “AirPods mismatch”. Additionally, it shows 'No location found,' but also says 'With you.'
I can remove the AirPods from my Apple ID, but they remain in the Find My app. I've followed every tutorial I could find online, on this site, YouTube, etc., but nothing works.
I visited an Apple Store, where we paired the AirPods with a staff member’s phone, but he was also unable to remove the AirPods from his Find My app. They could not solve the problem and advised me to contact Apple Support. I’ve called Apple Support over 5 times, and while they’ve tried to help, the problem continues to occur. Can anyone help with this?
