FindMy not working when someone shares their location with me

I have several people on my FindMy, meaning I can see their locations. One person's (we'll call her Sue) location cannot be located. On my laptop (Mac Air) FindMy says "Locating..." but it never resolves. Sue has unshared and shared anew, but still nothing. On my iphone, I can see Sue's location.

On my Air, I have turned FindMy on and off in location services. Nada. Zip. The only instruction in this community is from 10 years ago with incorrect instructions due to reorganization of the system settings in newer Macs and I followed it - did not work.

Any ideas?
