My Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to "NetworkBackupDrive"

Hi all,

This might be a new spin on the TM problem. I have a shared backup drive hanging off a Mac Mini to which everyone backs up to their volume. Has worked for years swapping offsite drives. Since Sequoia, the TM sessions connect, calculate differences, start to back up, but never finish with the title text.

Remove the network drives from the client machines and TM now does not recognize the backup drives as valid TM volumes. TM wants to reinitiate the backup volume.

If you remove the drive and direct connect the backup disk to a client, the drive is not recognized as a TM volume. This I knew about as an existing condition.

I've seen all the posts, ran the Terminal window TM log files. This is clearly an Apple Bug even in OSX 15.1.

Thoughts?

Thanks...
