iPadOS 18.1 only private access to photos in Photos app issue with Affinity Photo 2.5.5

I encountered an issue while opening photos through "Import From Photos" with Affinity Photo 2.5.5. I had posted the issue on Serif support. Serif replied that it is an iPadOS issue. Can Apple engineering team resolve this?
