Transferring RAW photo from iPhone to macbook
I am not being able to transfer RAW photos on my iPhone 16 to my macbook through iPhotos. The import is not working.

- Are you using iCloud Photos? If so, your RAW files might be stored as optimized versions on your iPhone, and you’d need to download the full-resolution versions before transferring.
- Are you connecting your iPhone to your MacBook with a cable, or are you trying to import wirelessly? If it’s via cable, is everything updated to the latest software?
- Which app are you using on your MacBook to import—Photos or something else? Sometimes third-party apps handle RAW files better than the built-in Photos app.
- Have you tried AirDropping a RAW file directly to your MacBook? That can sometimes bypass any issues with the Photos import process.
