Ever since I got my new iPhone 16 pro I am now getting junk mail in my inbox as well as my junk folder. Never had it before. How do I stop this? Cannot seem to sort it and Ive tried going in to my email account but still cannot find how to do it? Any help would be appreciated.

If some could create a mail app for the Mac and the iOS platforms that eliminated spam they could get rich, but so far no one has.
One reason is that spammers change the email address they use as fast as the create spam messages and trying to stay a head of them is almost a full time job. It has been suggested that Apple have a way to block certain domains that spammers use but so far this hasn't happened.
