iOS 18 Update Crashes Apple Car Play on GMC

My Apple Car Play also quit working with iOS18 update. It works with any other vehicle and phones that did not do upgrade still work in my car - but my iPhone won't work with Apple Car Play since that update and the apple store advised I cannot revert back to old update. This update crashes my whole infotainment system when I try to use Apple Car Play. System shuts down and screen goes black and cycles back thru to turn on. Occurs every couple minutes until I disable Car Play. In a hands-free state for phones, this is not good. WHEN WILL APPLE FIX THIS??
