Have followed the Apple instructions to double click the right-hand button. This produces a click (like taking a photo) and the screen remains blank.
Would appreciate any help, have loaded the cards into the wallet without difficulty.

Go to settings app scroll to apple wallet/pay scroll to your card it will say waiting for confirmation click it. It will prompt you to your bank or your card and it will say send confirmation by text or email OR it will say call the bank to activate it. NOW sometime the bank will make u come in person to have it activated. Thats whats happened to me. Still dealing with it
Thanks countrylizzard. My bank emailed authorisation within a few hours. Have now got access to my card but have not yet tried to make a payment.
