Apple Music does not recognize my account when I try to connect to Google Home

I have an Apple Music account as part of Apple One. I have used it with Google Home speakers for years wihtout any issues, until last night. When I tried to play music, it kept erroring out, and after I restarted one of the speakers, it told me that my Apple Music account needed to be connected. I opened the Google Home app and sure enough, the Apple Music account was no longer connected in the music services list. The problem is, every time I try to connect it, after handing me off to the Apple service and successfully identifying me, I get the message, “Cannot Link Apple Music. Connecting Apple Music with Google requires a subscription.” As I mentioned before, I have a subsccription, and AFAICT it’s active and working properly. This appears to be an issue with the Music app, not Google Home.
