on macOS dropdown menu for adding emails accounts to MacBook I noticed the outlook choice was missing and Microsoft exchange in its place. mikes place is this an apple or Microsoft intervention

I don’t have the “Outlook” choice either on my Mac. I believe you now have to use “Microsoft Exchange” for Outlook and Hotmail accounts.
thanks for reply I wonder if apple have revised their advice that was once given to me of deleting outlook and reinstall from exchange, it must be a Microsoft thing.
