Downloading to an external drive from the App Store
I would like to download a large file to an external drive from the App Store but don't see a way to to that. How do I do this?

I am only familiar with the App Store selling apps, not data files. If this is an app, it probably will insist upon going where Apple wants to store apps, in the App folder on the system drive. Some apps may tolerate being relocated to other folders from that one (I use an older system version which was a lot more permissible about user configuration than newer ones).
