Weather app does not load the Precipitation layer

It’s raining outside. The Weather widget on my home screen displays rainy conditions but when I open the Weather app and view the Precipitation layer, it shows a map but no rain. I click to load the Next-Hour Forecast or switch to load 12 Hour Forecast and nothing. Sometimes after loading the forecast some blocks of the rain displays but not over my location. Sometimes after it cycles 3 or more times I’ll see some areas of the map. If I’m home on high-speed Wi-Fi I’ll see the rain but also after cycling the Forecast multiple times.

I’m using iOS 18.1 on an iPhone 16 Pro.
