How can I protect my contact information on Apple devices?

I know that Apple cannot accept unsolicited ideas, so I'm just going to say that as an Apple user, I am concerned over my privacy when it comes to the contact information that I give out to my family members and close friends, and over them being able to decide whether apps have access to my contact information, and Apple users in general are very privacy-concerned and focused just like how Apple is, and because of that, most Apple users like myself are going to be concerned over something like this, so we would become extremely grateful if you guys could come up with a feature that would resolve this issue.

If you are concerned that, when you share a contact with someone, they will then share it in a way you would not, the obvious answer is to not share contacts with those people.

This is no different than back in the day when we wrote phone numbers on a piece of paper and handed them to someone to share them. We had no way, after that, of preventing that person from writing "For a good time, call <our phone number> on the neighborhood bar's restroom wall. Of course, back in those days, phone numbers and addresses were in a book that everyone got for free and that was also available in the public library.
