iCloud Passwords crashes

Today I noticed that the icon of iCloud Password app for Windows was changed. I clicked on it, entered Windows pass, and there was opened the inner window with circle loader (fetching the passwords). After a couple of seconds this windows just crashed.

I have repeated this several times. Tried turning off "Password and Keychain" in iCloud and then back on, restarted the PC. But the outcome is the same.

I believe that the app was automatically updated from the Microsoft store and the new version contains some bugs or incompatibility. Did anyone else encounter the same problem? Is there a solution?

Some 2 or 3 days ago my iCloud app has stopped syncing with iCloud Drive. Today after restart I've found the iCloud app has had a problem to login to iCloud ... and then something has changed the settings and all iCloud data from my computer where completely deleted.

Any chance to roll back to previous iCloud app for Windows?

I am having the same problem! I was using the old passwords app then I restarted my pc and noticed the icon is now the multiple colored keys and the iCloud app say it was updated a few minutes ago. Now when I try to open the passwords app on my win 11 laptop the app opens and has me login and then it pops up saying downloading passwords with a circle type activity bar for a few seconds and then crashes.

APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

I have to say Apple is clearly messing up as I have bugs in multiple Apple devices that have broken with recent updates WTF and again WTF!

I cant access my iCloud passwords on my PC and I cant use a different remote(Control4 Remote) with my Apple TV the new TVOS 18 has a bug that they have documented and have yet to fix.

APPLE YOUR DEVICES COME WITH A PREMIUM BECAUSE YOUR DEVICES ARE SUPPOSED TO JUST WORK, THIS IS NOT OK.

Microsoft Store updated, new multi-color keys icon, when trying to open after entering Windows PIN, it spins for a couple seconds and then crashes.

My chrome extension still works though.

Also in the iCloud app, it says under Passwords and Keychain:

Turn on iCloud Keychain on your Apple device

Updated 8 Minutes Ago

The arrow to the right is not clickable.

I've tried resetting, uninstalling, and on my notebook a fresh copy of Windows. My iPhone works fine and has Keychain on. I have 2 factor and Advanced Data Protection on.

Seriously considering the Proton Pass BF deal right now.

Yes mine has started doing this around a week ago. What's strange is that some functionality of logging into sites is still working, but if you load the passwords app, it uses Windows security successfully, but then spins around "Downloading passwords" for a while, then crashes.

Everything else on my laptop is working fine and no significant updates, so there must have been an update to the iCloud passwords app...
