CarPlay won’t connect

I recently bought 2025 Honda HR-V EX trim with wired CarPlay and I switched from iPhone X to iPhone 16. CarPlay would connect with iPhone X but it won’t connect with iPhone 16. It does charge my phone when I plug in but does not show button to connect to CarPlay.


Tried with original iPhone cable that came in the box and bought USB A to C converter as well and also tried with different cables but none of it works.


I’m guessing it should be because of iOS 18 because my wife uses iPhone 14 Pro on iOS 17 and iPhone X on iOS 16.


Anyone found the solution yet?
