why is there so much non-news in the Apple News app?

Does anyone else wonder why there is so much non-news in the Apple News app? For me, in my opinion - I think opinion articles are just dumb 😡 - I want fact!

Opinions are for social media - (not for a source that is supposed to be fact - like - ACTUAL NEWS)!!

its a shame they entice you to the Apple One plan since paying for it with the A.O is actually cheaper than ditching the News app entirely.

I think this app is a complete waste and I think that there should be a way to completely do-away with all of the non-news....maybe something like Hide Distracting Items in Safari. 🤔
