Request for Refund of Unintentional Subscription

Dear Apple Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent issue with an automatic annual subscription for the app Signeasy, which was charged to my account after the one-week trial period.

I would like to clarify that the purchase was unintentional. Despite explaining this situation to Apple Support previously, my request for a refund was unfortunately not accepted. I kindly request a refund of €99.99 for the Signeasy annual subscription, as it was made in error.

When you choose to use a free trial it is a binding contract that you agree to pay for the subscription if the free trial is not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. Forgetting to cancel the free trial is not a valid reason to avoid the subscription that you had agreed to. When you signed up for the free trial, it is clear before you double click the side button to agree to the terms with the free trial period showing and also the subscription amount if you do not cancel.


If you think you might forget to cancel the free trial, then set a reminder on your phone, or do not use any free trials. You will find the same to be true if you used a free trial for any number of the streaming services that are available. If you do not cancel in the free trial, you will be paying for the subscription.
