Not receiving ask to buy alerts

I have three children set up with ask to buy for apps and purchases. Very recently I stopped receiving any requests on my phone even though I never changed any settings. My child’s iPad keeps a record of the requests sent in a text message that is being sent to my email address. I have tried to remove two factor authentication as suggested in previous posts but I am not able to turn it off, nor do I really want to. HELP
