Apple Music playlist issues with Alexa and random music

Trying out a trial subscription, and are having two problems. I linked Alexa to my Apple Music. I was asking Alexa to play Apple Music on an echo dot, and several times I asked her to thumbs down a particular song, and she says yes, but it keeps replaying every time I play that Apple Music playlist.

The other problem is, I have made up my own playlists with Purchased iTunes, and now whenever my playlist is over, instead of silence, random music starts playing.
