Connectivity issues with AirPods and XF0324 case

I just recently bought a pair of used air pods, unsure of what gen/year. I’m having issues keeping them connected, after so long the air pod beeps twice and then just completely disconnects. When connected, the model number is A2000, which I’ve never seen with other air pods, but the model numbers on the air pods themselves are genuine. However, the model number on the case is XF0324, and I was wondering if this was maybe why they wont stay connected? I’ve looked and there are no air pod case models (that I’ve seen) that match that model number
