Unable to pair my iPad with iPhone after software update

I like working seamlessly between my iPhone and my iPad. I check emails, messages, and even work on my Geneology using both. I also use NOTES that I count on being in both platforms. I just updated my iPhone and iPad and they’re no longer pairing. This is freaking me out! I’ve tried doing everything and it’s still not pairing. Any suggestions?

Your issue is unclear...


By "pairing", are you suggesting that you are using your iPhone to provide a wireless hotspot connection to connect your iPad to the internet? Perhaps you instead have your iPad (and iPhone) connected to WiFi - but are having difficulty with both devices sharing data via iCloud? Something else?
