Purchased movies missing from Apple TV library

For quite some time I have noticed movies that I have purchased are no longer in my library. I realized this when I bought a movie and realized I had already bout that movie. As time goes on I am realizing that I am having to repurchase movies I KNOW I had already purchased. So, what is going on? I have spent hundreds and hundreds of movies to build up my library. If these movies are missing from my library, shouldn’t I be reimbursed? I am missing at MIN about 30-40 movies.
