Frustrating User Experience with iOS: Apple TV Alerts and Remote Control

Hi everyone,

I’m really frustrated with the new iOS update—it’s been one of the worst user experiences I’ve had with Apple. Removing features that don’t work for me is unnecessarily complicated and, frankly, painful.

For example, I don’t want anyone in my house to see what I’m watching or when I’m watching it. The Apple TV alerts that pop up on my locked iPhone screen are extremely intrusive and annoying. I can’t understand why it’s so difficult to turn this off permanently.

Additionally, I don’t need the Apple TV remote control feature on my phone. Why is it there, and how can I completely remove it?

I’ve reached out to Apple Support, but as usual, I did not receive a response. If anyone here knows how to fix these issues, I’d really appreciate the help.
