Purchases on iPad won't download to Mac

Purchased an album and various songs through Music app on my iPad. Downloaded and played just fine on the iPad.

Also automatically downloaded to my iPhone.

I've gone to download onto my Mac through the Music app and it won't download the music.

On the Mac;

  • It shows up in my account as purchased.
  • It shows up in the store (if I search for the songs or album) as purchased but the 'Download' buttons are greyed-out.
  • Using 'Check for available downloads' option say 'No downloads available'.

Obviously I've checked that all devices are logged into the same account, I wouldn't be seeing the information I am if they weren't.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm baffled.

Should also add that this has never happened in the past.
