Replacing iPhone 6s battery by myself

I have an old iPhone 6s that I cannot get to power on! Believe it is a simple battery issue. How difficult/worth it to purchase a new battery and attemopt to replace myself? (Am tech savuy). Hello everyone, sorry but the title says it all. The comp doesn't even recognize it when manually plugged into a laptop/iTunes. It's the same issue with an older iPad mini. Are they worth the effort to tinker with and have as toys for the little ones or just rash them? Or could I repurpose them into something involving the 18-yr old and above age (making vape modes)? I would love to make a mod with a phone/tv/radio built into the mod!

I know my idea may sound far-fetched, but feel one is coming to the market soon. I have the 3d printer if you have the required tech knowledge to make this idea an operation reality!

Apple does not sell genuine batteries to users, so you'll have to take a chance and hope that the battery that you choose will work. Even if it does, you will have no idea of what the Maximum Capacity of the battery might be, because this information will no longer be displayed on the phone.

You will of course need special tools to try to open up your phone without destroying the screen.

Apple won't touch the phone if things go wrong and you need service.

We are not going to provide any information if you want to try this yourself, but you can find a number of articles on the Internet about this.
