My refund request denied

I am ability furious. For context I had this music app called music score for sheet music FOR SCHOOL and a subscription was paid for the cost $99.99 AND WITH TAX WAS $105.99. Money that I DONT HAVE and couldn’t afford. I did not want this subscription nor did I click on it myself. I’m not sure how it happened but when I figured it out I had to ask a friend for money to put into my account in order to pay for the subscription or else I couldn’t download anything else. Once I did that I asked for a refund because I didn’t want this app, subscription or to have to pay for something I didn’t want. My request was denied even though I had a VALID reason. I need that money. That money was practically stolen from me. Why in the world is Apple like this??? I cannot stand situations like this. It is simply not fair. I can’t afford this and I needed that money for school. “Your refund request was denied” WHY??? WHY WAS IT DENIED?? I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. Never EVER using Apple again. If I could change to a Samsung I would. At least they’d be more helpful and reliable. I would LIKE my refund. $105.99 for something I’m NOT USING and haven’t even used once. NOT fair. Screw this.

Did you use a free trial and forget to cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ended. Any charge that occurs either through an in-app purchase, subscription, or free trial is initiated by double clicking the side button with the information showing on the screen that details the charges. If it is a free trial, you will see on that screen when the trial will become a subscription and how much that subscription costs.

Some apps don't have a free trial and only offer subscriptions. In that case you are not able to use part of the subscription as a free trial by requesting a refund later. In most cases all transactions in the app store are final, but in some cases Apple may provide a compassionate refund on a case by case basis, but it should never be expected.

If you needed the app for your school, it sounds like you also needed the service that they offered. There are many apps in the App Store for sheet score, but if the app you had is Musescore: Sheet Music, there is only some content available for free, and for most things you will need a subscription. They offer a monthly plan or yearly subscription. The free trial will convert to the yearly subscription if not cancelled.
