GarageBand on iPad crashing mid session & Apple Music
I recently updated to iOS 18.1, and since then, my GarageBand has been crashing mid-session on my iPad. It will freeze during playback and then completely close, causing me to lose everything that wasn't saved manually. As a result, I've lost several sessions, despite my constant manual saving and updating. I have more than enough space and am not using many tracks.
Today, I encountered an additional issue where I can't edit a song in GarageBand. Any attempt to delete or move a track to a different position causes the app to freeze and crash, losing any unsaved work. This is infuriating as it disrupts my creative process, making it clunky and repetitive.
Has anyone else experienced this? These problems started with iOS 18. I've also noticed my Apple Music crashing on both my iPhone and iPad when editing playlists or deleting songs without long pressing. Additionally, editing playlists on my Mac Mini often results in songs being moved back to their original positions. There seems to be an issue with native apps since the update. I'm using an iPad 11 Pro M2, so it's surprising given that all my devices have M2 processors.
