my card is using someone else's account

My credit card with the number ***** has been used for a 14,990 KZT subscription charge attempted by Apple. I have reviewed all my subscriptions, and I have no record of any subscription or charge for this amount.

It’s possible that my card was linked to someone else’s Apple account, perhaps by a friend, but I am unsure who exactly and what subscriptions are tied to it. I kindly request that this card be removed from any Apple accounts to which it may be linked, as it is my personal card, and I do not wish it to be used for any Apple subscription payments.

Best regards,

Vyacheslav

If you don’t recognize the charges, but a friend has used your card, then the charges are legitimate and Apple has no choice but to honor the subscription your friend has agreed to. Subscriptions are a legal contract.

You can find your current subscriptions by following the instructions and links in the Apple Support article I shared below.

Maybe. Unfortunately, that’s the best I can offer. Some credit card issuers will actually block all transactions once the account/card is locked. However, other issuers/banks will continue to charge because it’s a contractual obligation.

Most (all?) Payment Network Operators, (Visa, Mastercard, American Express etc.) use what is generically known as Automatic Billing Updater. When your bank changes your credit card numbers, they automatically update the merchant (Apple in your case) with the number of your new card. The merchant can then process and unpaid monthly subscription fees with your new account number.

You really need to follow the link in my first post/reply to you and determine if it’s a legitimate charge. Either your bank or Apple could escalate the issue.

Can you see the charge at this link?

If you see the charge, at that Apple page above, it’s legitimate. If you don’t, it may be fraudulent charges. If it’s fraud, you may need further explanation.

yes, i looked at all the links, thanks, but they didn't help. this is a very interesting approach. it turns out that money will be written off from my card even if i stop using apple gadgets. and apple support doesn't want to help me in any way. i can't contact them and find out at least in which account this payment is made...

Is the monthly charge viewable to you on at the links or through the articles I’ve linked to? This is basically an anonymous forum. What you explain or post can’t be traced back. The charge you’re seeing is either legitimate or it’s fraudulent. If Apple is denied a legitimate payment, they may block your card and ban you. If you tell your bank it’s fraudulent and it turns out to be legitimate, your credit/debit cards and other accounts, may be locked and permanently closed.

If you gave your card and Apple Account to another person and they charged up debts, that’s on you. Trying to find a loophole is not the answer. This could haunt you for years. What actually happened? 😀
