AppleCare has nothing to do with the Apple product team supporting the Weather app, and that Apple product team in turn, has limited control (if any) over the third-party weather collection sources that they draw upon to present the weather at any location to you.

You can provide direct feedback to the Apple Weather product team but do not be surprised if they don't respond owing to the volume of feedback. As I mentioned, they may only present the data they receive in the weather app, not how that data is originally gathered.

The data from breezometer appears to be proprietary, it would not necessarily align with a metric used by government data. When I enter my location in the website, I show the same AQI as displayed in my location in weather app. So, the number that you see may be derived from government data but will not necessarily align; Google isn’t involved. For example, in my location in the US, the EPA shows air quality of 53. Apple weather displays 31. The scale is simply different.
